Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. Shooting to fame for his roles as a character in Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. Alongside his role with Road Trip he's played in over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & many more. Qualls is diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a resilient fighter. His cancer was in remission after two years. The treatment, however, at such an early age left severe impact on his body and hindered his growth. When he was a kid, he was accustomed to living in poverty and therefore, financial stability was his primary goal. He has said that "I've been living so frugal for so long that I need financial security otherwise everything will seem out of control in my case." He is nostalgic about his childhood, and wants to do something about bullying. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. The perfect role for DJ is that of a real-life father. Yet, he is aware that directors do not have me as a character. One day he'd like to become a dad as he is capable of dedicating less time to his career and more towards his children.
